Despite struggling this semester due to my travel schedule and constantly clashing with my professor, I managed to crank out two rings.
Travel was the real fork in my spokes. I should have at least two other projects but I was unable to make up missed classes and labs. A new policy at the school put the kibosh on that. Of course, these policies weren't in place when I registered and paid. Needless to say I was not pleased.
At my age, I am not willing to plan my life around classes for the next two years. I work too hard to delay enjoying myself based on a class schedule. I can't ask Van do that again. He hung in through undergrad and through my grad school phase when I realized I didn't like my chosen field and promptly dropped out.
Fortunately, my mom stumbled across info on another jewelry school. It is closer and has a more flexible program that is geared toward individual goals. There is no semester or class schedule. You pay your monthly fee and work during your assigned class time. Viola! So I am hoping to start cranking out designs instead of assignments very soon. So no more forced reticulated projects.
So keep an eye out, I hope to posting new projects soon. Now I must get a knittin'!
