Confessions of a Remedial Knitter
I know many of you think the big news is the discovery of an earth-esque planet 20 light years away. It is perfect timing given that we are burning through this planet faster than rolling papers on Willie Nelson's tour bus. Frankly, I just got settled here in Costa Rica and I am not ready to make the move to New Caprica (the first of many shout outs to my fellow Battlestar Galactica nerds). But I digress.
So what is the real news you ask? I am thrilled to say it isn't an impending cylon attack. No dear reader, it something a little less lethal and heck of a lot more exicting, it is the progress on my Leaf Tee!
Progress is pretty generous term given the multitude of fraking rookie mistakes. Seriously, I have had to rip back at least six times to correct misplaced yarn overs. Yarn overs! I even missed crucial purls in leaf panel. The whole thing is making me feel like a remedial knitter.
Despite feeling like a total chump, I refuse to give up. This project is gorgeous and I can't wait to model it as an FO. So send supportive thoughts or apple-tinis my way.
Don't give up!!! It's looking great.

Hee hee. I love the BSG references. And your lace tee is looking pretty cute, too.

I found out a few weeks ago I had been yarn-overing wrong for what? Twenty years?!
Keep the faith!
